HORSES, NATURE & DEEP LISTENING

An in-person space to soften, feel, and come back to yourself

There is something that happens when you are outside, held by the land, with horses who are free to be exactly as they are.

This is a spacious, embodied experience held in the beautiful Samford Valley, north-west of Brisbane, with me, my two sensitive mares, and the wider living world around us. You may also be joined by the cat, the chickens, and our resident curlews - because, frankly, they have their own ideas about being left out.

The exact address is shared once your booking is confirmed.

The horses are never asked to perform, diagnose, mirror a wound, or carry the responsibility for anyone’s healing. They are free-ranging partners in this space. They may come close, stand quietly nearby, graze at a distance, wander off, or return when they choose. Their interaction is always their choice and is never guaranteed.

What is guaranteed is a carefully held, trauma-aware space where your body, your nervous system, and your own inner knowing are welcome.

Nature does not hurry your process. Neither will we.

SOMATIC SESSIONS WITH HORSES

Your body has a story. It deserves to be met with care.

These sessions are for people who are ready to meet themselves more deeply - not by forcing a breakthrough, but by listening to what the body, the nervous system, the land, and the moment are already communicating.

I am trauma-trained and work with somatic, nervous-system-informed, and systemic approaches. I have supported people online around the world through this kind of deep work. To offer it in person, outdoors, with two mares who are highly sensitive and deeply familiar with energy work, feels like a profound next step in what they have been showing me for more than a decade.

A session may include a blend of somatic resourcing and nervous-system regulation tools, guided or gentle hands-on fascial manoeuvres, inner-child or parts work, Family Constellations-informed inquiry, energy work, and spacious time to let the body settle and reveal what is ready to be met.

Nothing is imposed. We work with your pace, your consent, and the capacity of your system on the day. You do not need to arrive with the perfect story, a clear issue, or words for what you are carrying.

This is not equine therapy

I began offering equine-assisted counselling in the early 2000s, among the first practitioners doing that work. I have deep respect for its place in the world. And I have also evolved.

I do not believe horses were put here to be our therapists, to reflect our wounds back to us, or to ask them to carry the work of human healing. That is not what happens here.

In these sessions, I hold, guide, and facilitate the human experience. The horses are free to be horses. When the space is well held and the conditions are right, they may choose to support what is unfolding in their own quiet, intelligent way. They may come close. They may move through the space. They may settle, graze, yawn, lick and chew, or simply remain nearby. And they may choose not to engage at all.

Their choice matters. Their wellbeing matters. Your safety matters.

The horses do not need to fix you

Nature has its own way of helping us remember what is true. It is a medicine all on its own. The wind, the open sky, the rhythm of grazing, birdsong, the ground beneath your feet, and the uncomplicated presence of animals can all offer something that is hard to manufacture indoors.

I am the facilitator. The horses may amplify what is already ready to be felt, released, or integrated. They may support the field as your system begins to let go of things it has held for a very long time. But the work remains yours, held with compassion, skill, consent, and respect.

You are not coming to be analysed by a horse. You are coming to be met - in your body, in nature, and in a space where nothing has to be forced.

WHAT A SESSION MIGHT INCLUDE

Every session is responsive rather than formulaic, shaped by what you need and what emerges in the room rather than a fixed script.

Depending on the day, your time together might include somatic resourcing and nervous-system tools: gentle practices that help you notice, orient, settle, and build the capacity to be with whatever is present. There may be guided or hands-on fascial manoeuvres too, always optional and consent-based, offered to support ease, awareness, and a felt connection with the body.

Some sessions move into inner-child and parts-informed work, a compassionate way of meeting younger or protective aspects of yourself without needing to push them away. Others draw on Family Constellations-informed inquiry, a systemic lens for noticing inherited patterns, loyalties, grief, belonging, and what may not be entirely yours to carry.

And woven through it all, there's space for energy work, gentle attention to your energy field, guided by what's needed in the moment.

Nothing here is prescribed in advance. It simply unfolds, session by session, in whatever combination serves you best.

Tracy has built years of expertise in reading the body of her client and meeting the need within, that the client may not have consciously even realised yet.

A once-in-a-lifetime kind of experience

There is a particular magic in being outdoors with two mares who have spent years participating in Horse Wisdom readings and helping me channel what they seemed to want people to know. They have often shown up when people have come in person for Family Constellations work. Over time, they have made it clear that they want to be part of this work in a different way too.

This offering comes from listening to that invitation.

Session details: 90 minutes. Investment: $397.

It is not a performance. It is not a promise of a particular outcome. It is an opportunity to experience a deeply held human space in the presence of horses who are free to choose their own relationship to it.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

This is a good fit if you are longing for a more embodied way to work with old patterns, stress, grief, relationship pain, family stories, self-abandonment, or the sense that you have been carrying too much for too long.

If you want to feel what co-regulation can feel like and find a reference point for safety in your body, this is for you.

It is right for you if you simply feel called to be with horses and nature in a more meaningful, unhurried way.

You do not need horse experience. You do not need to be “good” at meditation, therapy, or talking about feelings. You only need a willingness to be curious, to listen to your own body, and to let the session unfold at a pace your system can meet.

A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW

Your consent, comfort, and agency are central. You can pause, change direction, decline touch, or ask for more space at any time. Hands-on work is always optional and discussed beforehand.

The horses free-range and choose whether to participate. Their physical interaction with you cannot be promised, interpreted as a diagnosis, or made responsible for an outcome. There is no riding involved.

These sessions are supportive, reflective, and wellbeing-focused. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or crisis care. If you are currently in acute distress, experiencing a mental-health crisis, or need clinical support, please seek care from an appropriately qualified health professional or emergency service.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will the horses come close to me?

Maybe. The horses are free to come and go as they choose. Sometimes they stand nearby or approach with curiosity; sometimes they remain at a distance or do their own thing. There is no pressure on them to interact, and no expectation that they will.

Are the horses reading or diagnosing me?

No. I do not treat a horse’s behaviour as a diagnosis, and I do not ask the horses to take responsibility for your healing. If I notice something in the environment or herd that feels relevant, I may offer it as a gentle observation for your own reflection - not as fact or instruction.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable layers suitable for being outdoors, enclosed footwear, and clothing you can move and rest in easily. We will discuss anything else you may need when you enquire.

Do I need to have experience with horses?

No. You do not need horse experience. We will begin in a way that helps you feel oriented, informed, and comfortable around the herd.

Can I book a session even if I am unsure what I need?

Yes. You do not need to arrive with everything worked out. We can begin with a conversation and let your intention become clearer from there.

COME AND SEE WHAT UNFOLDS

You don't need the perfect words for what you are carrying, and you don't need horse experience or a tidy story to walk in with. You just need a willingness to be curious, and a body ready to be met exactly where it is.

Two mares, the open sky, beautiful trees and animals, and a space held with care are waiting for you in Samford Valley. What happens next is never scripted, never forced, and never quite the same twice.

I help people remember their wholeness through trauma-informed, depth-guided healing that honours sovereignty, tenderness, and authenticity. My work restores the sacred threads between body, soul, and lineage - inviting safety, true belonging, and the ability to receive without self-abandonment. I walk beside those reclaiming their power, not to rescue, but to witness and support their return to truth.

I acknowledge the Gurumgul people, the First Nations custodians of the land on which I live and work. I honour their deep connection to this Country, which has held and sustained life for countless generations.

I recognise that the Gurumgul people never ceded their sovereignty, and that this land was taken from them. I acknowledge the truth of this history with respect, humility, and a commitment to remembrance.

Although the Gurumgul people, their language, stories, and traditions are no longer present in living memory, I recognise their enduring presence in the land itself. The rivers, soil, trees, and skies continue to carry the imprint of their care, wisdom, and belonging. I hear it in the birds and feel it in the earth beneath my feet and the wind as it blows.

I live on this land with respect and reverence. I honour its history, walk gently upon it, and remain committed to caring for Country in a spirit of gratitude, humility, and stewardship.
